Voor gewone burgers zijn strafvonnissen ingewikkeld

"Those who can strongly imagine a future version of themselves, will be less inclined to behave criminally"
Experimental studies by Jean-Louis van Gelder and colleagues suggest that the tendency towards delinquent behaviour is associated with a reduced cognitive ability of people to imagine themselves in the future.
People who are better able to envision themselves in the future, also prove to be less prone to delinquent behaviour.
