Route description

You will find the NSCR on the 3rd floor of the Initium building, on the campus of the VU University. Coming from the Buitenveldertselaan, you walk underneath the Initium. The entrance is immediately left around the corner. Diagonally opposite the reception you take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Turn left and follow the corridor until you reach the NSCR. By public transport

Diagonally opposite the Initium building is a stop for tram 5 and 25 (stop Arent Janszoon Ernststraat). Around the corner, in front of the main entrance of VU University is a stop for tram 24 and buses 62, 221, 246, 274, 341, 346, 348, and 358. From NS railway station Amsterdam Zuid you can walk to the NSCR in about 7 minutes.

By car and parking

By car from the A10 take exit S109, turn left towards Buitenveldert and follow the signs ‘VU’. On De Boelelaan you drive past the VU Medical Center. At the next traffic light you will see the main building of the VU University on your right. Turn right to the Buitenveldertselaan and the Initium is the second building on the right. The nearest (paid) parking garage is Q-Park Mahler, near Amsterdam Zuid railway station. From there you can walk to the NSCR in 5 minutes.
