Organization

The NSCR consists of six research groups and seven administrative departments (Finance, IT & Data, HR, Secretariat, Privacy, Grant Advisor, and Communications). Above the research groups is the Research Management Team. Above that is the Scientific Director. Above the seven administrative departments is the Administrative Management Team, with the Institute Manager above that, and the Scientific Director above that. The NSCR also has a works council. Above the Scientific Director is the Board of the Institute Organization (NWO-I). The Scientific Advisory Committee and the Institute Advisory Board are positioned on either side of the Board of the Institute Organization (NWO-I) and the Scientific Director.

About us

NSCR conducts fundamental scientific research into crime and law enforcement. Our research is substantively innovative, methodologically state-of-the-art and contributes to the solution of major societal issues in the field of security and justice.
