About the workshop
The Child Sexual Abuse Reduction Research Network (CSARRN) was established in 2023 by a group of researchers committed to combatting child sexual abuse. The CSARRN brings together scholars, practitioners, government agencies, and private and not-for-profit organizations from around the world to develop new and interdisciplinary approaches to addressing this pernicious crime type. The CSARRN seeks to combat online child sexual abuse through interdisciplinary workshops where key researchers and thought leaders come together to share their work, foster new collaborations, and develop unified solutions to better address the most pressing issues of online child sexual abuse. Topics addressed include identifying factors associated with offending, developing forensic tools aimed at improving investigatory practices, promoting interventions orientated about reducing victimization, and exploring new ways to support victims.
