The NSCR has the mission to conduct excellent and fundamental science that drives and simultaneously impacts society. Part of this is promoting an inclusive science culture with an eye for diversity. Diversity in the composition of the staff fosters a variety of arguments and leads to inspiration, creativity, and innovation. The added value is seen in the joint effort of people with different expertise and a diversity of backgrounds and perspectives.
As an organization NSCR aims to structurally create and ensure the conditions for an inclusive culture, in such a way that employees can develop and utilize different talents. The management and MT endorse the objectives of this plan and will strive for proper implementation.
Within the study center, a diversity team is active with currently four members. For questions, send an email to dei@nscr.nl.
